The Yellow Queen sweater pattern now available :)

The pattern for this fair isle sweater is now available to download on Ravelry
The pattern is in English and comes in sizes XS-XL. The sweater is knitted from down to up on circular needles. The design has a wide neck opening and long sleeves for a feminine and flattering shape. Enjoy! :)

Horse/ bunny/ heart sweater done!

I finished my horse sweater! I decided to go all whimsical and playful  and added bunnies and hearts around the collar and some gingerbread trimmings along sleeves and neck opening.  I am very satisfied with the end result and will definitely be wearing this warm luxury Alpaca and wool sweater during the coming cold winter.

On the backside of the sweater I added a little bow on one of the horses, always fun with some unexpected detail.

Inspired by Nature and Wild

I am knitting a cardigan inspired by feathers and animal bones that I found out on an island in the archipelago. It will be quite Pocahontaesque with lots of different motif in brown and black.

The colours of the yarns are quite close to the feathers I found.

I am using Garnstudio Drops Nepal yarn because of its softness and high quality.

I am knitting in the round on 4mm needles and making up the motifs as I go along. I think you could call me an improvisational knitter because I don't usually have a ready pattern and plan for the final result when starting.
With these bright colours I intend to make bracelets.
Knitting bag with ongoing projects.

Enchanted forest and Orchis maculáta.

Looks like our cat is laughing but in reality she is trying to chew on some grass, silly cat...

Knitting adventures await!

I haven't felt so inspired to knit the last few weeks, which is unusual. I have at least three, no four, projects that I have started but then kind of lost the enthusiasm. But today I saw a cardigan that I immediately knew I would have to knit for myself. And I WILL finish it before starting any other projects! ...or at least I will try very very hard...
